DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA


INGETEC has participated prominently in the development of aqueduct and sewage projects, intervening in studies and designs of new systems, and in rehabilitation and/or improvement studies of existing systems.

Drinking water and basic sanitation systems


The firm accredits its experience with studies and work related to drinking water and sewage for populations served in housing centers ranging from camps and industrial facilities to cities such as Bogotá (Colombia), with more than 7 million inhabitants. The studies and works developed in this field include master plans, projects in their different stages (recognition, pre-feasibility, feasibility, detailed design), supervision during construction, infrastructure rehabilitation and execution management.


INGETEC, with its interdisciplinary group of specialists and professionals, has carried out cartographic, hydrological, topographical, geological, geotechnical, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, electronic and communications, structural, environmental, economic, financial, tariff and institutional studies, for the different aspects and components of drinking water and sewage projects.

SAN RAFAEL

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO El Proyecto San Rafael tiene como fin asegurar el suministro adecuado de agua a la ciudad de Bogotá D.C., y a los municipios integrados a la red matriz, más allá del año 2000, ya que provee al sistema de un embalse que permite almacenar agua para programar las inspecciones y mantenimiento de los túneles que conforman el Sistema Chingaza y garantizar el suministro de agua ante posibles emergencias que se puedan presentar.  El proyecto consta de una presa, un túnel de desviación, un dique auxiliar, una galería de drenaje y otra de acceso a la cámara de válvulas, estructuras de captación, de control y descarga de fondo, un rebosadero de emergencia, una galería de captación y una estación de bombeo hacia la Planta Francisco Wiesner con su respectiva tubería de impulsión.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO Mejoramiento integral del acueducto y alcantarillado de la ciudad de Barranquilla El proyecto tuvo dos componentes principales: Acueducto y Alcantarillado, y un tercer aspecto, el Desarrollo Institucional. INGETEC tuvo a su cargo la Gerencia del Proyecto de las obras contempladas en el Plan de Inversiones para el mejoramiento integral de la prestación de los servicios de acueducto y alcantarillado de Barranquilla.
